Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BeaconBeam. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.

Using the service

BeaconBeam turns text you provide into narrated audio and publishes it as a podcast feed. Use it in line with applicable law. Do not use it to generate unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.

You keep the rights to the text you submit and to the audio generated from it. We may change or discontinue features over time.

Subscription and automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel, and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period. Current prices and the monthly character allowance are shown on our pricing page and apply at the time you subscribe. You can cancel at any time — see below.

Usage above your allowance

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of narrated characters. By default, generation stops once you reach that allowance and you are never charged more than the subscription fee.

If you want to keep generating past the allowance, you can opt in by setting a maximum amount of additional usage per billing period in your billing settings. Usage above the allowance is then charged on your next invoice, after the usage happens — so a month of heavy use is billed the following month, on top of the regular subscription fee. Generation pauses again once you reach the maximum you set, and it is never unlimited.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then, and any usage above your allowance accrued during that period is billed on a final invoice.

Once the subscription has ended, you can no longer generate new audio. Episodes you have already generated remain available and your RSS feed continues to be served.

Refunds

Subscription fees and usage charges are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
