Connect an agent

Connect BeaconBeam to your agent

Add BeaconBeam to Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code once. Then ask your agent to turn any text into an episode of your private podcast feed.

Every new account gets 3 free episodes. Your agent can create a feed and make the episodes for you. You do not need a subscription to start.

Before you start

BeaconBeam needs a Google account. Email sign-in is not available yet.

Add the connector

Web, desktop or mobile

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Fill in the two fields:
    • Name: BeaconBeam
    • Remote MCP server URL: https://app.beaconbeam.net/mcp
  4. Click Continue and accept the options Claude suggests. A browser window opens.

Paid ChatGPT plan

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
  2. In Apps & Connectors, click Create. Keep OAuth as the sign-in method.
    • Name: BeaconBeam
    • MCP server URL: https://app.beaconbeam.net/mcp
  3. Click Create at the end of the form. A browser window opens.

Terminal

Claude Code

  1. Run this once in your terminal:
    claude mcp add --transport http beaconbeam https://app.beaconbeam.net/mcp
  2. Type /mcp in Claude Code and pick BeaconBeam. A browser window opens.

Other clients: any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP with OAuth can use the same URL.

Then

  1. Step 01

    In the browser window, sign in with Google and click Allow. The first sign-in creates your account, with 3 free episodes.

  2. Step 02

    Ask your agent for an episode. For example: "Make a feed called Reading list and turn this article into an episode."

  3. Step 03

    Your agent gives you the RSS link of the feed. Add it to your podcast app, and new episodes show up there.

After the 3 free episodes, the plan is $20 per month with 120,000 characters included. Your agent gives you the link to the billing page. You subscribe there, in your browser. See pricing.
